I have everything I need out of life (ie. nice car, house, good job) but I still get jealous over my family, even my fiance that I live with. When he got his new car I wasnt even that happy for him because I was so jealous.

Very simple.

You're insecure within yourself. You can't possibly feel joy for another human being when you are miserable inside. Start some simple self examination and I'm sure you'll come up with a conclusion for your unhappiness rather quickly.

All the very best to you.

I seemed to have the same problem. But what i realized is that i should be grateful for the fact that i am alive, and in good health. IMO in order to stop these jealous feelings, u have to be humble with yourself. Don't wait for a life threatening event to realize what you have is really worth something. I think a lot of us tend to become jealous over material things..but once u have no value on the particular tangibles...u'll recognize things of greater value. for example...drop the car, and look at ur fiance...some of us don't even have fiance's :P

Well, that's not nice, you have to be happy for every one that get something. It seem that you want to get all the reward for yourself and that is not fear. If you have everything like you say, then you have nothing to envy, be happy for others as when you get happy when you receive. I enjoy so much when one of my friends or family receive something, even if I don't got it, this show your gratitude heart and that you love every one. But been jealous is not a good sign of love.

Love is not jealous of nothing.

Jealousy is the main result of an insecurity.. maybe you need to do a bit of self evalulation and see if you can find out why you are allowing this to take place. You may need some help to uncover this deep seated problem.

Your a greedy *****. How can you even admit to that? What an Asshole. Your just spoiled. One day I hope everything you have is taken away from you so you really know what its like to not have something that someone else has. I would hate to date you and I feel sorry for your family and children. Anyone that can so freely admit to being so vain is just a sorry person.

You have become painfully aware of your own inferiority. Jealousy eases the pain.
