My boyfriend of 4 years and I are growing apart. I can feel it. Whenever we talk now, it ends in an argument- before we had everything in common and rarely raised our voices to one another. I feel alone and exiled, he won't communicate what's going on to me anymore. I don't even know how to tell him how I feel.

Anyone have any advice?

I'd try counseling.

You two clearly haven't been communicating over the past few months or so. Sometimes it's hard to say what we feel, and sometimes we take advantage of our partners because we've been together for so long. But with proper guidance, you two could rekindle your old love...or at least get help splitting amicably.

Don't do anything harsh. Just sit down with him and discuss the possibility of counseling. It's less embarassing than spilling your issues to a friend, and it's effective- you'll communicate better, even if you're no longer compatible.

Please email me for further information. I hope this helps! :)

he might be seeing someone else...sorry to say it, but it is a possibility. have you asked him? ask him and see what his reaction is. Just be straight forward with him. I mean, after 4 yrs, you should be able to do that. Ask him if he feels it is for the best to break-up. Tell him that this is how you have been feeling lately. don;t hold anything back. If there is nothing else that you think you can do to hold on to this relationship, you should let it go. I mean, unless both of you are willing parties to work on this relationship.

I was going through somewhat the same situation about a month ago. It was aweful. June was an aweful time for me. And I did not know that I was pregnant. I still am pregnant and am now married to this bloke. we chose to work it out and we are happier than we have been in the 4.5 years that we were together. We were married July 12 and we love each other very deeply. I hope you have a good turnout with your situation

if you wanna talk, just IM me (one_sera_phim)

good luck with everything.

DO u know whats the problem with ur relationship?? well it wont be any good if you both stayed together .. more likely it will ened into a break up when the time comes.. means he may find someone fresh than u .. and u may find someoen fresh for you .. so seems you both arent suitable .. but try to work things out if it is more possible to go any further..

I fully understand. I think that you should try to let him know how you feel. You also need to think about if you want to stay in this relationship. I know you may love him but sometimes it is best to take a break and maybe come back if possible. No need to be unhappy...its only messing you up!

I think u should try to talk to him first.

Try couples counseling first. You have been together for a long time and you shouldn't throw away your relationship without trying to remedy the problem. Good luck.

I would sit him down in front of the computer, show him your question and let him read the answers. If nothing else, he will be compelled to communicate.

Good luck.

If he no longer looks like marriage material (the kind of person you would want to have a family with), then don't waste your time or his, break it off.

I would break up. If you dont like fighting then just end it. at least then you would have some peace and then you can go flirt all you like!

It sounds like you have already made up your mind and the choice is to say goodbye.

try to resolve your problems before you make a big step like breaking up.
