The book you want is called DSM IV, aka, the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders". It's the most widely used book for diagnosing mental disorders.

I would check the web. And then I would ask a therepist or a doctor. I would also look it up in a search engine in a local library, you might be able to find some good books on it. Hopefully there might be a schizophrenia for dumbies.

i would go to schizophrenia.com and ask people on the people diagnosed board what books they reccommend....

the board is great for support and understanding...

there is also just a plethora of info on schizophrenia.com about symptoms, etc....
