If you haven't gotten married yet, or if you have already been married, what was the color scheme? I probably would want a white and pink wedding, or really any wedding with pastel colors basically. And just to try something new, I might even go multi-colored pastel like white, pink, and pastel orange...it would be something different from what I've always seen at church...

the color depends on the time of year. Darker colors are good for winter. I have seen a black & white wedding. Black dresses for the bridesmaids.
In the summer, light colors are good. I think it would be pretty to have all the bridesmaids in while dresses too, but have very pale pink flowers..
Also I have seen weddings where the bridesmaids all have the same color of dress, but have different dresses, then they can each have a dress that fits them well.
The beach sounds like a wonderful place for a wedding. Sky blue dresses with pale pink and blue flowers.

Have fun planning, but remember that the relationship is more important than the wedding.

Well, our wedding is a chambord (wine red with a hint of purple) and a light pink. The two colors look really good together.

If I could pick all over again, it would be a sea blue with a pastel pink, maybe some orange and pastel green in with it... Something fun and summery!

lol just for the sake of my boredom I'll say colors for all four seasons, beings that I am no where near even being engaged yet.

Winter: apple red and an elegant gold... the flowers being white and cream color

Spring: spring green... the flowers being cream, yellow and perhaps orange (depending on the shades)

Summer: probably a different shade of green, with the same flower colors as spring

Fall: elegant gold and a darker green for the dresses, and cream and white flowers

lol if it's not obvious enough, I like green... but who knows my taste may change by the time I become engaged!

Congrats to all the newly married or engaged couples!

I am having a fall wedding and my colors for the wedding party will be either dark red/gold or light blue/chocolate! Chocolate is really hot right now-kind of replacing black! Also like dark red/light peach, or teal/bright yellow, something that really stands out! I think my reception will be silver/light peach, white/pink or all white! I havent got that far yet!

We'll be having plum, lilac, and pink with a hint of silver as our wedding motiff. We both love the springtime. Nothing looks more beautiful than spring with all the flowers blooming. I have requested our florist to style the church and reception site with spring flowers. Also, we'd love to see our guests in these colors at the wedding.

Well I recently got engaged to the love of my life and if it were up to me, since Id have my wedding in the summer Id have to say Id like Purple, Blue and Silver. Those colors look very nice even by candlelight too. it kicks up the romantic tone especially closer to night fall. But I suggest lots of dim lighting it makes the moment extra special.

I am doing hot pink, hot orange and white for my wedding. Its an outdoor wedding with the reception under a big white tent and I am having tons of tiki torches around and paper lanterns hanging from the trees. I'm super excited. =)

I'm planning on getting married next fall and Im going to go with a dark purple/plum color for my bridesmaids with classic fall colors to accent such as wine, oranges and dark yellows. They should look beautiful with the changing leaves!

All of my bridesmaids dresses are an apple red color. I am using all gerbara daisies in the colors of red, orange, yellow, and white. Any other accents I need have been in silver. The decorations and arrangements look great!
