Whatever it is, I'm not doing it. Might as well assume I'm an atheist and go to Hell. But I think I'll be deader than dead by then.

in my opinion , if u are believer ,u wouldn't ask this Question first, God is God , and nothing can compare with him,
it doesn't mean that if u are afraid of hell, ur only wayto escape from it is to believe in god, in the way of god nobody is decieve others, god knows what u think, what are u going to think, what are u going to do , if god wants anyone to believe in him, he would just send a light to his heart, in this topic there mustn't be any suspicion.

God is God....you can't fool Him, He knows your every thought, word and deed. You will meet God regardless - we all come under the judgement seat of Christ. If you are a child of God, then you will be judged as Christ because He died for your sins - so that is what God will judge you on. If you are not a child of God and haven't accepted that Jesus died for you then you will be judged as yourself with no one to stand in your place and unless you have been as perfect as Jesus, you will find yourself spending an eternity in Hell - That is a long time!
