Well, I'm a straight guy, so I'm definitely biased, but I'd say the girl. Lovely lips, big beautiful eyes, long hair, and nice sultry look -- what's not to like?
They do look rather similar: I'm guessing brother and sister? Tell him he needs to grow his hair out and do something with that half-beard -- either grow it or shave it off.
