The Trubulation is a historical reference by John to HIS OWN TIME. There are no more modern truths in Revelation than there are in the predictions of Nostradamus. If Nostradamus' predictions were correct, why have we NEVER ONCE found out about them until AFTER they supposedly happened, at which point, the generalities and vague terms would allow you to interpret them any way you choose, just like Revelation.
What stories of Revelation have come true so far? And don't use the strife in the middle east as an example, because Arabs and Jews have always been at each other, and this recent upswelling of violence is actually MUCH MUCH smaller than the previous conflicts in the recent past (mid-late 20th century).
The closest thing to a story of Revelation coming true would be George W. Bush as "The Beast" and the failed "Real ID" program would have been the "all people shall accept his mark". Other than that, what has come of the predictions of Revelation?
Are we in the 7 years of the Tribulation now? Well, why did the "Tribulation" of the Viet-Nam War (1969-1975) come and go, with no one being magically sucked up off the earth? How about the "Tribulation" of WWII (1939-1945)? Yet the global population is higher now than during either of these two wars who's roughly 7 year cycles were both called "The Tribulation" and doom sayers said our days were numbered. Well, I am still counting those days!
In short, GOD is a kooky concept to explain the things that people don't want to spend the time to learn about on their own.

No I won't be left behind...isn't that a name of a series of books. I never got done with the first one...but I know I won't be. I'm saved by God's grace. Not works. Though, some people think differently, and that's sad.

I will be with God and during the 7 years anyone who accepts him into their lives will be saved. All the others will be left behind.

There will be people saved during the tribulation. they are commonly referred to as the tribulational saints. They will be relatively few, however, when compared to the total population of the earth. Even though the world will witness the rapture, few people will believe because the Antichrist will put such restraints on people that they will choose to follow him for relief, instead of following Christ.

I can only hope and pray the Lord finds me worthy enough to join Him in Heaven with the Rapture. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father will all my heart, soul, mind, body, and spirit. I pray that He will find my worthy enough to join Him. Or at least find me worthy enough to leave me left behind to help those in need of hearing the Word.

You sure can spin out a lot of garbage from a lot of cryptic nonsense in the so-called Book of Revelations. More mumbo-jumbo and intensely irritating crap from ignorant, uninformed sheep named evangelicals who can't recognize supserstion and stupidity when it stares them in the face.
Go back to church and quit bothering the sane people.

I am heavenbound, because I have trusted in Jesus Christ to forgive my sin. He now leads my life and I live for Him. No better way to live, and my home in Heaven is secure too.
I am looking forward to the return of Christ with eager aniticipation.

I thought god loved everyone. Would a parent leave some of his or her children behind just because they were naughty at one time or another?
What kind of sick, twisted bastard is this god of yours anyway?

No. But if he comes back he will take the people who listen to him to heaven and the people who don't listen to him will go to hell. Do you read the Bible???
