Is it just me, or does it seem that there is something bigger going on with the world?
With all the crime, environment problems, etc, I get the gut feeling that we're all witnessing something bigger going on here than what appears just at the surface. Maybe something to do with the bigger "Grand Design"?
If you agree, what do you think is happening?

If you have studied the Word of God, and have a true relationship with Him, the answer is simple---God's Word is being fulfilled. Some verses for reference are- II Corinthians 4:18, II Timothy 3, Matthew 24, Luke 21:11, Daniel 7, 8,9, & 11 and the book of Revelation. I believe mankind is trying to build another tower of babel like in the book of Genesis. That's why there is so much more global interconnection between all the countries of the world. And the reason there are such organizations as the United Nations and the European Union. I also just recently heard about the North American Union, which sounds very suspicious. Man thinks he has all the answers for the problems of this world. Since sin is the problem, and most men don't acknowledge they are sinners, then they don't understand the problem and so they can't have the answer. Jesus Christ is the Only Way, Truth, and Life.

You know, every generation has asked this same question. It is one of the most egotistical questions in history. It's like saying "this is the pinnacle of human achievement, we cannot rise further, so the world should end soon".
How terribly sad.
Let me give you a quote;
"I know the world will end soon. Children do not obey thier parents, spouses sleep with others and every man wants to write a book."
Found on a mycenean stone tablet over 1100 years old.

So, the answer is, no.

There is really nothing new going on.
In fact based on history the world seems pretty quiet be comparison.
For example:
Hitler starts his raids on Europe the same time Long Island was devistated by one of the worst hurricains ever.

Bigger population the bigger the problems seem.
Relax it's not over yet.

I believe that it is getting close to the second coming of Christ. If you read the bible every thing that it says will happen is coming true. And it is so sad because we could prevent it or change. But no one seems to care enough to make a difference.

We who are about to enter the Great Tribulation. That is what is happening. Our whole lifestyle is about to change. If you are not ready it will be a shock.
Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Religon is used to explain naturally occuring phenomia. People can't accept things just happen with no reason. They all have very specific reasons why each happens. But people don't want to spend the time to figure them all out.

i believe everything that happens is part of God's great plan. God lets evil rule all this time inorder to bring glory to him in the end when god defeats evil. We are drawing closer to the end, nuclear weapons, hurricanes, etc. Trust in god. peace.
