Now Christians never have good answers and if they do it's not logic at all, can anyone give me a logic answer.
Jesus was sent to the children of Israel (Jews), they wanted to kill him, (now Christians say he was killed & Muslims say that God [Allah] saved him, Jesus is still alive and he's coming back), anyway,
Where did the word Christianity come from, Where did the Religion come from? how did people make all these things up?
In Islam God [Allah] says: I have chosen Islam as your deen (religion).
Where does it say something similar to that in the Bible? who gave you the permession to name this religion "Christianity". Jesus did not say that, because he was not sent to send a new message. HE WAS SENT TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.

The word comes from the word Christ, which Jesus did, indeed, call himself when Peter said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God" And Jesus replied, "flesh and blood have not revealed this to you." In other words, God had revealed that to Peter and Jesus was confirming that He was indeed the Christ. Followers of Christ then came to be called Christians (it says in the book of Acts where they were first called Christians but I forget where) and linguistically speaking it's only natural to say that the belief system of Christians is called Christianity. The word Christian is come from the greek word Christos, meaning Annointed One of God. In Hebrew the word is Messiah.
The English translation for Christos is Christ. The word Christian was first used in Antioch soon after Christ died according to Acts 11:26.
Of coarse Islam says that it shall be your religion. ALL religions say that, Mormonism, Catholisism, Buddism, Ba' Jai. However, Christianity has its roots in Judeaism and existed before Islam and the others. Christianity also has 4,000 years of prophesey that has come true and is still coming true to prove that it is the true religion.

If you read the New Testament Jesus sent his apostles to go to the ends of the Earth and Preach it. Christian mean "Like Christ" and people saw them acting Like Christ so they called them Christians.

When you break up the word, it literally means "Christ-like." Many people thought that they were acting as Christ would and they so came to be called that. However, I know so many that don't deserve to be called that.
