ok my mom is dating this guys (scottie fillback) dad and i almost went out with scottie before i moved, and now they might move here! im really happy that they are moving down here, but my mom might marry his dad and scottie really likes me (that is what my mom says) and i really like him and now i don't know what to do about that cuz i don't want my mom to marry his dad. what should i do about this?????????

Even if your mom marries his dad-you and Scottie stilll won't be kin. Just tell your mom how you feel. Be happy that she's happy and if she doesn't think that you dating Scottie is a good idea then that's just one of those things if live that you have to deal with. Besides, there are plenty of guys out there and whose to say that you and Scottie would work out anyway?

Look, your mom is obviously in a more serious relationship with Scottie's dad than you could ever really be with Scottie. They are in love and want to get married. You should be happy for your mom and let her have this one. Don't make this about you. Suck it up and let this guy become your step brother and nothing more. You've lived this long without Scottie and there are plenty of guys ahead of you in life. But your mom deserves a bit of happiness for all the heart ache she's been through doesn't she?

if you and scottie really like eachother that much, then don't worry about it. you do your thing, and let your mom and his dad figure out what they wanna do. it'll be ok
