I struggle with this one. I know that any type of birth control that causes an abortion is wrong, but what about other types? Did God want us to have as many children as possible, or would He want us to be responsible and only have as many as we can afford? I don't know.

The one time that birth control is mentioned in the Bible (Obed in the Old Testament) it made God angry. So does that mean it's wrong???

What is wrong is having sex not being married but you can't tell children this they think they have all the answers its all in your raising i would rather think about someone taking birth control then abortion that is murder. and i have heard the pill does not always work. not having sex is the only sure way not to get pregnant or stds

I think religion should have no say in our reproduction. If someone wants to use birth control they should, and no religion should look down upon them for doing so. It's the individuals body and therefore their choice.

Don't use the bible, Christianity or any religious book or religion to decide on birth control.

Yes, it is wrong. It is God who gives children. If you take birth control, you are disobeying God's law, for He commands man to be fruitful and multiply in Genesis1:28

I can only say what is practiced in my faith is right for my faith. I am Roman Catholic and the only birth control sanctioned for us in NFP. It is 99 % effective if practiced properly. I believe in leaving that opportunity open to God. I do not deign to tell another how to practice their faith. I follow mine.

Why does it matter what we think? The important question is what do YOU think?

...there's nothing in the Bible about birth control by the way.

some people do believe that, but i don't!
1) some women need it because of other health related issues, not just b/c they don't want to get pregnate
and 2) if you are ment to have a child God will allow it to happen in His time birthcontrol or not.
so no i don't believe it is wrong.
