Someone once told me that anything against the church is satanic, and if the church says it's satanic, then it is. But I'm confused because I thought that satanizm was a religion and not a label. Please help explain this to me.

It's both.

In reality, satanism is an actual religion.

However, in the subjective world of certain christians, anything that disagrees with their beliefs qualifies as satanic. From their point of view, that's as much a matter of reality as whether or not the sun will rise tomorrow.

There's really no way to convince such christians of the reality of the matter, because they really, honestly believe what they tell you.

According to the "church" everything outside of the "church" is satanic... it's just a way for them to scare people into staying with the "church". Satanism is a religion/philosophy... I'd say more philosophy than religion, because Satanism doesn't worship Satan... the label is used to show direct opposition to Christianity, rather than bowing down to some Demonic Leader of Hell....

The Christian religion looks at Satanism much differently than Satanists do.

Not believing in or desenting against church teachings doesn't make you a Satanist. Practicing satanic rituals makes you a satainst.

Why would you need to know that? Anyone who worships, Idolizes, likes, or has a tattoo depicting, Satan, is going to Hell!!! Unless you totally reject him and repent and ask Jesus into your heart and truly believe in Jesus' great sacrifice and ask His forgiveness for your Sins and do not fall from grace, before you die!!

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
