Here is the direct Question.
Can you tell me who had discovered Jesus empty tomb? Can you list ppl and time of the day when it happened? I am sure its one of the most important doctrines to define Jesus as GOD. So I would assume that every intelligent Christian knows their roots.
And I guess if Christians answer will be some how different from one to another than not every Christian who will try to answer this is a true Christian right?

Ok, while most ppl referring to Mat there is one person who try to give more complete picture. Here are the start

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

A young man
Mark 16:5
And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

Two men

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

Mark 16:3-4
Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away.

John 20:1
The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Three

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Five or more
Luke 24:1, 10
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
...
It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

Luke 24:1-3

1On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when
they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Matthew 28:1-5

1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.

Mark 16:1-6

1When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. 2Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
4But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

6"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him

John 20: 1-8

1Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!"
3So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen. 8Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.

I don't really see how the answers could vary, this is straight from the Bible. Also, if there is a slight difference, it doesn't mean the person is not a true Christian. A new christian wouldn't always know right where the passage is or may not have yet learned those kind of details. A baby that is born and 2 days or even a month old, because it can not talk, does this mean the baby is not human? You, obviously, know nothing about becoming a Christian, as you think because you accept Christ, you should automatically know it all. Did you know everything in life without learning it first? Silly question!

That is a very easy question.....Luke 24 On the first day of the week early in the morning, The wemon took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. Mathew 28 says that Mary Magdaline, and the other Mary were the ones that went to the tomb, and found that Jesus was not there

Mary (Jesus's Mom) and Mary Magdalene discovered the empty tomb at dawn on the third day after Jesus's Ressurection, that translates to about 6:00 a.m. on Sunday on our calendar. There were also 2 guards there when the angel rolled back the stone but they fainted (the Bible said "became as dead men") before the Marys got there. Its all in Matthew Chapter 28, Verse 1-4. Just because a Christian doesn't know the specifics doesn't mean he or she isn't saved. It does mean that they need to get into the Wod of God and study.

Mary Magdelene and another Mary found the empty tomb near sunrise on a Sunday morning (Saturday was the Sabbath) while bringing ceremonial herbs, oils and perfumes for the body. They found the tomb empty and and Angel sitting on the rolled back stone explaining that Jesus was no longer there. They ran back to town, told the Apostles, and Peter and John ran to the tomb, John arrived first, but did not go in, and Peter went in when he arrived. The story varies slightly from Gospel to Gospel.

Who discovered that the tomb was empty?

Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of John & James (and wife of Zebedee) and a woman named Salome went on the first Sunday morning after Passover in approx. 30 AD while it was still dark. Exact time is unavailable but given the other details we can infer that it was probably around 5am.

Then they went back to where they were staying in Jerusalem and told the others. Peter & John went into the tomb and found the empty death shroud.

The story of the ressurection is one of the most misunderstood by christians.
One of the historical figures that became "jesus" was a Khristos, or priest. These priests would undergo a ceremony where they were locked in a small space (sometimes an empty tomb) for three days and nights (starting to sound familiar) with only a small amount of water. When they emerged they were declared "twice born" or "reborn".
Literally tens of thousands of priests underwent this trial.
It's not a miracle, it's merely a poorly understood (by modern standards) religious rite of passage.
Nothing more.

I'm not sure what you're doing here? You asked a question, and tell us that it's the most important doctrine to define Jesus as God. You tell us that if we're intelligent Christians we'll know this answer, and we should all give the same answer, and this is our roots.
What exactly do you want? I feel as if I'm offended by this whole thing. I think if you had a question it could have been asked in a nicer way and less offensive. And then you answered it all yourself, so what are you trying to prove? That you know the answer? There are many mixed messages here.

You here on yahoo answers will not be Able to disprove something that has been proved time and time again in history as FACT.
Many have tried to find a hole in the resurrection story but NONE have succeeded. They have only validated it further. Why do you think that a few varying answers here in this forum will disprove the Resurrection?
ALL you WILL prove is that those who claim Christianity are not that sure of their roots. HOPEFULLY when you do prove that people will learn from it and get knowledgeable!

So thanks for the question, Sorry I will not answer it....as you really did not want the answer anyway. You will have to search that out yourself, I suggest:

Mary Magnalene and Martha were the first to discover the empty tomb and an angel told them that Jesus had risen and to go tell the others. i'm not sure about a time of day, i'm thinking int eh morning but i can't think of a specific verse that tells that. after that Jesus appeared to the disciples, other friends and then a multitude watched him assend into heaven (several days later) i don't think there is an exact timeline of when he appeared to who.

I don't know for sure--I'd have to go home and look it up, and if you want me too, write me later--but I think that three of the women disciples were going on Sunday morning to treat the body with sweet oils, and they were approached by the angel who moved the stone away from the tomb, and the angel told them that Christ was risen. Then the women ran to the apostles to tell them, and Peter and someone else, I think, ran to the tomb, and saw it was empty. Later, Christ appeared to Mary, and then he ascended to His Father. After that, He appeared to the apostles and showed him the scars.
