It is said that the Kaaba was lilly white from origin, but became black because of all the sins it absorbed over the years since its existance.
If so then does that mean its actually worshiped?

maybe people believe it .. it sounds like a beautiful way to make people feel better again.

i think it might be just a way for people to mentally let go of some baggage.... like we all need to do now and then.

No. The Kaaba is not the thing that is worshiped. Actually the worshiped one is not a THING. He is the Creator. And he is theone who decides whether you go to heaven or somewhere else. Kaaba, built by Abraham, is point where to direct the pleas.

By the way, sins are not "absorbed" or cancelled. They may be forgived, but there's no button that "deletes" them.

To aimooon87: it's not offensive. People may not know.

First, kissing the Kaaba is not obligatory during Hajj. When a person kisses it like the Prophet (saw) did it is a sign of honour and respect. When one of the Kalifas kissed it he said it does not harm me or benefit me and "I would not have kissed it if the Prophet (saw) did not kiss it" Abraham our father built it. No it is not a thing we worship. It is NOT a place where God is physically placed. May God protect us from those evil thoughts. It is a direction of worship. I symbol of unity Muslims need to have. No we do not worship the Kaaba that is committing the biggest sin in Islam and Christianity which is to ascribe partners with God Almighty.

No, that isn't at all true. People don't have to kiss the Kaaba, and it was always black. It isn't worshipped, it is considered the House of God. So, I guess you could say it's like a church, a really special church, except for Muslims.

I can't help you with this bigtoe, but aimooon87 struck me the wrong way.
Aimoon87, first of all, bigtoe was asking a serious question because he wanted to know something, he wasn't being offensive, but you on the other hand were offensive striking back with your religion has many errors. How is that not offensive? I'm not a very religious man, but I know people who are and they would only say to others that everyone should be respectful of others and their beliefs. I spent a year in Iraq and I met tons and tons of muslims and I respected their beliefs, I never cut on them or told that their religion was wrong, but I wouldn't ever think about ever becoming a muslim because it's not for me. Next time think before you answer.

It would most likely make you very ill.
Because it would be covered in millions of germs from all the camel kissing homos that kissed it before you did.

"The House of God"...lol
'We' are the House of God.
Poor, blind Muslims.

The only thing that can ABSORB YOUR SINS, is the Blood of Jesus Christ.
