I went from 185lbs to 140lbs in one month. All I ate was tuna mixed with rice, drank water, ice tea and coffee. I was in training for boxing, so I was also running 3 miles a day, hitting the heavy bag for 30 minutes a day and lifting weights every other day.

A pound of fat is the storage of 3500 calories. For most women that would be about 2 days worth of their proper caloric intake (assuming a typical fairly sedentary American lifestyle). Therefore, the theoretical maximum you can drop by not eating at all would be about 7 pounds of fat in two weeks.
HOWEVER, it doesn't actually work that way and is a TERRIBLE idea. First, if you are losing more than 2-3 pounds per week (1-2 is recommended) your body will go into a protective starvation mode where it will begin burning muscle tissue (which makes you look toned and attractive) while PROTECTING fat at all costs. In the process it will also reduce your metabolic rate so that it burns fewer calories per day. Think about it: that's not sustainable and will cause your weight to jump right back up and beyond where you started!
What you need to do is increase your exercise a bit and decrease your food intake a bit until you start seeing a 1-2 pound per week weight loss. Loosing it too fast will just eat up the muscle you have so that you end up having to eat less and less just to keep from putting on fat!
Slow and steady is the only real way to take it off and keep it off.

The healthiest goal is to loose no more than around 2.5 lbs per week, depending on what you weigh. If you want to improve your health, as well as your appearance, you should eat a high fiber, low saturated fat diet and drink lots of water. Fruits and veggies are high in vitamins and very good for you. Eat lean cuts of meat or eliminate meat intake and opt for soy products, which are actually superior in protein makeup. You should excercise regularly. Depending on how much you weigh right now, you should be able to achieve your weight loss goals easily by following this, as very few people eat foods rich in fiber and much of the American diet consists of high saturated fats and trans fat.

I lost over 10 lbs. in 2 weeks. I only ate one meal a day (lunch) for breakfast I had 1 Slim-Fast, ate a normal to big lunch (nothing fried, lean meat and veggies or a grilled chicken salad) and drank water, water, water. I also walked for an hour and a half each night with my dog and a did about 20 minutes of aerobics each day. No sodas, no tea, no coffee, just water and lots of it. It worked for me and I'm 5'1 and WAS a little heavy. Good luck!

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.
