I recently got a new debit card because someone stole my other one. My question is does my checking account stay the same? Because someone sent me money on paypal and I extracted the money to send to my account, yet my account haven't received it yet but it said "completed."

Call your bank. I don't think there is any change. You should cut up your old debit card so it doesn't get used.

The account number stays the same. The transaction is complete through PayPal - your bank simply hasn't caught up to posting it (this happens to me all of the time).

your debit card number will be different, but your checking account number will be the same. the question is whether your paypal account was set up to be transferred to your checking number or your debit card number. if it was sent to your checking number then it should be ok, but if it was to your debit number then not so good. i would go to your paypal account and see where exactly it is going to and contact them with your new number if necessary.

as long as your actual account number didn't change. It should still be the same bank right?
