God has a purpose for everyone. If He has called her to be a nun, then there is nothing you can do about that and the priest is right. If you love something, let it go. Trying to hold ontp something or someone you truly love but that is not going to hold on to you seems a little selfish, don't you think? If you really love this girl, then you need to wish for nothing but whatever makes her truly happy, right?

Being that she is only THINKING of becoming a nun, she hasn't decided to yet. If that is the case, the Priest has no right to speak for her. He is in fact jumping the gun and I would be wary of him overstepping his bounds in other issues involving self-determination and respecting people's independent thoughts and choices.
Let her know your feelings and give her some time to make up her mind. Love is patient.
If she decides to be a nun anyhow, be happy for her, and know that you were part of the process of helping her clarify her life's path. If she doesn't choose you, it doesn't mean that you are a less valuable person...it just means that she feels a strong calling, and that there is a specific job for her to do in her life.

Your priest is wrong. Becoming a nun, goes against biblical teachings which encourage women to get married and have children. To have a calling to serve Rome is not mentioned in the Bible. To love God is more important than to serve a human institution.

1. Tell the priest to pull his head out of his anus.
2. Tell your girly how you feel.
3. Allow her to make her decision
4. a. If she chooses you, treat her like a queen forever, she just chose her 'calling' over you afterall.
b. If she chooses her calling over you
1. Continue to go to church and find a new girly who doesnt wanna be a nun.. ever
2. Say screw this bullshit, leave your church or whatever and find either a slut or a nice unchristian girl.
3. Move on. You'll find happiness again.
Duh?

Go on with your life. If she truly has a calling then you can not persuade her otherwise, if you do she will be miserable. If she does not it will fail and she will return to this world.
