we're both 21 and both have a child, she has a girl i have a boy. i dont like to go out and drink, but its like thats the only place to meet people our age. Any other ideas?

Hey hun. I am a single mom too and it is hard to met quality guys!
First of all, don't go to a bar to meet good guys. That's like going to a desert to find water. There are no good guys at bars!
I would try a church, how about different activities such as outdoor sports, etc. Take some college classes and meet men there who have goals and are going places. Or dog parks. Even the Internet if you are careful!

That is the worst place for you to go and meet quality people! Go to things like car races, motocross races, monster truck shows, outings like that. Bars are meat markets!!!

Try church, church outings, college (if your in college) clubs and organizations, and other places where you can have fun. If you are having fun, chances are someone your age is having fun there, too. Find some other girlfriends who have parties, and mingle with some of their guyfriends.

Crash a little league game...the single dads are there! You don't have to tell them who you're rooting for...just pretend like you're there to see your nephew or friend's kid. Or go to the park on the weekends when single dads are out.
