In a way, yes it is. Natural drugs like weed and mushrooms can be very uplifting, but I agree with the war against chemical manmade drugs as they're not spiritual. Yes they can induce highs but there is also the chance of major toxins leading to death.
I'm an advocate of natural drugs. Weed and a good old vinyl album, nothing beats it to let you look at your inner self.

Did I just read above that someone said that the people who wrote the Bible were on drugs? Oh Lord give me strength! lol Boy, some days.....well anyway where was I!
I think the war on drugs is a war against the evil one for sure, as drugs are a tool that he uses. If it's bad, it's from the evil one, of this you can be sure. I was a drug addict for 15 years, so I can say that they are all bad, been there done that. They are a tool of his, they are addictive, and keep you away from anything good.
Is the war on drugs a war against spirituality? I'd say no, not against spirituality, but against the evil one.

I think the war on drugs is against people that are breaking laws. Some drugs may have started as something spiritual and culteral but look at how they are abused now!

no its not a war against spirituality. Drugs are known to be a crutch. people become dependent upon them, like alcohol, lsd, speed, angel dust, etc. It ruins most peoples lives. If these people that sell drugs, to young people would have the love of God in their hearts instead of getting rich at the expense of many. Maybe the drug traffic would stop.

No, although that can be an unfortunate side effect, that whole zero tolerance thing is never, ever a good thing and never works.
