This sensitive "dork" would probably treat you better than any guy out there. Given a chance there is nothing more incredible than a friendship that blooms into a relationship. Forget how other see him, and think about how he sees you. Maybe you'll see him the same way if you go into it with an open mind and heart.

Tell him you thought about it, and that you don't think the two of you are right for each other as far as dating. Tell him that it is okay if he still wants to be friends with you but that he should not get any other ideas. Be firm about this.

If he is a sensitive guy you are not doing him any favors by hinting that you would conisder dating him. You are only leading him on and you will make him feel a lot worse in the end.

Being a dork has nothing to do with it. You are treating him like a dork by assuming he is too fragile to hear the truth. If people stop treating him like a dork he might stop being one. The best thing you can do is help him toughen up a little.

I speak with the voice of experience...the guys that seem like dorks or nerds in high school end up being the most successful, adults. Plus, he will be so proud being able to take out such a beautiful, perfect, hot, babe like you that he will spoil you....seriously, if I had his number, I'd call him and tell him what a shallow and self centered b@#T!* you were and how he deserves so much better. Something you probably never considered...do you realize that at your school some people call you a dork or a wannabee pop star???Get over yourself. He doesn't need your kind of charity. Someday, years from now you'll be washing dishes at a low class diner, wondering why you thought you were so cool...

He's already a friend and you're worried now about the "dork" status? Sounds to me like you're being superficial and fake. You obviously like this guy, so instead of "going out" in that high school sort of way, why don't you actually go out and be friends and just let the relationship be what it is? Tell him that you like him and that you just want to keep things as they are, but you'd be willing to do some more one-on-one hang out times with him. Seeing that he's sensitive and that you two already get along, you may be surprised to find that the "dork" is really your "knight in shining armour". You have to give him a chance to find out for sure.

No guy who is sensitive to other's feelings is a dork. You have to decide if you want your peers to determine who you see and who you don't, or whether you will think for yourself.

If you make it clear that the date is a friendship date, I don't see what the problem is. Friends are too valuable to lose over something as petty as keeping up an image. If you want to continue seeing him, go for it!

well if he's your friend, you must like him at least a little bit, right?? you said he isn't a dork in your eyes, so does it really matter if he seems like it in others' eyes? he might turn out to be a sweet guy if you just give him a chance. he wont always stay a "dork" and if you say yes, then you'll at least be able to say you tried, even if it doesn't end up working out. :)

don't lead him on... be easy on him but tell him your not attracted to him and there is someone out there that would appricate his unique qualities more than you, and don't say sorry because you shouldn't be. after all you both have feelings and yours are not for him......
That said....let me throw this at you.... just becasue he doesn't fit your phyiscal attractive qualities as a male he might be a prince on the inside, .... if he wouldn't get the wrong Idea maybe you could be friends and see if there is anything there...no harm in trying...

you said it already....he's not exactly a dork in your eyes>>this has to be a question that is answered completely on your own. DO NOT let others choose your path to happiness......if your too focused on what others may think, you may have just let the love of your life walk away......

Grow up and stop being a wh0re. If you think he is cool, go out with him. Who cares what all the other pregnant 13 year olds think! If you don't like him just be a big girl and tell him you only like him as a friend.
