Being single is definitely a better choice, hence you have many other opportunities. Opportunities include hanging out with friends more, having a variety of guys to choose from, being more free, etc. I understand how some people want to be together and all due to the clingy relationships they get. Some people get too serious about it and I rather stay out of it. Having someone is great since you have someone to talk to, someone to cuddle, and especially someone to love you. Sometimes, there are times when the guys cling on too much and therefore the ladies end up hurting them. I know girls don't like hurting guys so therefore it's better maintaining your marital status as single. Both sides have an advantage but being single has more advantages than being in a relationship. It also depends on you whether or not you want someone to love. I like taking relationships for fun, this way I'm able to learn from experience. I'm still in high school so there's really no point of trying to maintain a strong and serious relationship. Either way, you're going to break up after high school since you guys will separate and attend different colleges. Love is not meant for callow people, love is meant for mature people.

It's better to be in a good couple than single because you get a lot of support, sex, back rubs, you have a confidante, there is more security, loyalty, you will never be lonely again, there is a reason to wake up and a reason to go to bed every day. Someone to share life's joys and inspirations with, someone to talk about the movies or the day you just had. To ask advice, who will give it without any self-interest, just wanting the best for you.

Being in a bad realtionship is a lot worse than being single.

And then there is the in-between.

Relationships don't make you happy all the time, they don't make life easier. They are a lot of work. Actually, they make the lows of life lower, the highs higher. They don't change the taste of life, they just make the taste stronger.

theres a good side 2 each point! if u like the guy enough give him a chance but if u dont think the relationship is worth it stay single. but single is fun 2, then u can explore different types of guys. try both sides 4 awhile & see which 1 works 4 u.

I don't believe that these two situations can be compared. Being single or sharing your being with someone else is a state. You can experience both joy and pain when being within each category all the same. In my opinion it depends on the persons involved in the relationship or the absence thereof.

Single for now, i love my Independence I'm only 21 but in the far of future sharing my life with someone wouldn't be so bad. i one of those people who don't see the point in serious relationships because i want to figure out who i am and what i want out of life. Before trying to figure out who Mr. right is. How would i even know when i meet him if I'm not exactly sure what i want for myself?

Depends on the person. If you want to feel comfort and loved then you should find the right person to be with. If you are happier without someone then stay single. I think people look younger when they stay unmarried and without kids.

i had fun bein single cuz i have a really independent personality so i could flirt with or talk to or chill with whoever i felt like without having to worry if anyone would care

but im absolutley in love with my boyfriend now i couldnt think of being with out him and i want to share everything with him. it feels good to have that feeling you know? so i think it just depends on what your preferences are.

personally, i cant stand being single.
but really being single is better you can do whatever you want and have a chance to see what else is out there.
not being single. is great to if you have the right person. but its not alot of fun if your not into that person alot.
