How do I travel for free when delivering a package?

I have heard in the past that if you are willing to travel anytime with just a carryon bag you can travel wherever the package(s) final destination (ie exotic or big cities).

Contact one of the couriers---they can put you in touch with their "stringer" companies, companies they use for odds and ends runs--these companies use individual carriers.

Air Couriers still exist. You don't fly free very often - usually it is just deeply discounted. And you don't get much choice in schedule.

Still, it is a great way to visit places cheaply.
