If you’ve lost track of time, chances are that you achieved a “flow” state with your activity. "It happens when an artist loses himself entirely in his work, or when basketball player enters that zone where it seems everything she throws up will drop in. This is Flow—the freedom of total absorption in an activity, the almost euphoric state of concentration and involvement." You were so absorbed in your activity, so undistracted, that for all intents and purposes, time did not exist while you were in your “flow” state.

I've thought about that alot. That's usually how I try to make 'good moments' last longer. It feels as though time goes by really fast, so I try remember time is going by regular. When I'm bored, it can be a pain, since it seems like time goes by slow and I want it to go by faster, but it still goes by the same.
As for Spiritual connection, I'm not exactly sure. Guess it all depends..

Ever heard the old saying 'a watched pot never boils'?
If you are just sitting and waiting for the time to go by (like watching the pot) the minutes just seems to crawl by.
But if you distract yourself by doing something interesting, you don't notice the time passing.

when you're excited you are usually hyper so you have so much fun that you don't take tiome to check the time. but when you are bored or waiting, you are always waiting for the next fun thing and it seems like time slows down because you aren't motivated and you are checking the clock so often. the less you check the clock, the more fun you seem to have.

I'm not sure by what you mean by a "spiritual connection" but I understand what you're saying, and can relate to it.

Sorry! No help here. I'm wondering why as I get older, the days get longer and the years get shorter. How does THAT happen?
