I was wondering if it is bad luck or if you stay on earth and never go to heaven or you go down there if you die on your birthday.

Thinking about death is bad luck.

I'd say that's a paradox. Good or bad luck cannot become of you if you are dead. Unless you believe that luck follows you to the next life - if you believe in that.

I doubt whether you go to heaven, stay on earth, or go to hell is affected by whether you die on your birthday or not. I would agree with others that it'd be somewhat ironic and it'd be unfortunate for those looking to celebrate your birthday.

If you go down there, it's probably because of something you did not because of bad luck.

I think it's the dying that counts, not the date. So yes, it's very bad luck indeed.

And now, a word from Baylon 5:

"Zathras not of this time. You take, Zathras die. You leave, Zathras die. Either way, it is bad for Zathras." -- Zathras

I don't think that person really has luck on their mind at the moment.

It's bad luck for the people left behind, they were expecting to be celebrating something but instead they are grieving.

My mother said [of my father] "I wish I'd told him to open his cards yesterday!"

As if you could say, open them today, you might be dead tomorrow!

Bad luck for who?
