Not without a Work Permit and that is dependent upon the laws of the state in which you live in.

You can usually find out about work permits through your local School District

Not unless you have a worker's permit; when you are 16 you can work legally without a worker's permit, under 16 you need one. I think the county gives those out; at least that is how it is in my state. People under 16 probably would NOT be hired though because of how hard it would be to schedule them as there are a lot of laws for minors and for people on worker's permits, they can only work 3 hours or something like that, and it would just get in the way of their shift scheduling, which tends to be 8 hours per shift usually. Also, it's unlikely to be hired because most jobs in McDonalds (like cutting, slicing things, etc) you need to be 18 because of the use of knives and sharp things. It's all just little government precautions to keep parents from suing.

nope,
too much liability, not enough to work with.
for example, minors under the age of 16 that are eligible to work can work no more than 3 hours a day, require a 35 minute break, and and can't do anything but cashier(not cashier/cook)
You can research the child labor laws, but i'm pretty sure this is accurate, having heard them multiple times when someone is trying to get their 15 yr. old a job.

possibly. But I believe that due to the child labor laws, you are only allowed to work until 7 pm if you can.

They'd hire a 5 year old if they could.
