I've tried asking god for answers or to show me the way, and I never get a response. Is it possible that I 'm so blind, deaf, or stupid that I can't see? Are some people more tuned in to this form of communication than others, that's why they become christians? If I have free will anyway, won't I create my own answers?
I am an atheist, but wouldn't your god want to reach people like me even more than you.
I think that if there was any real evidence of the supernatural then there would be no atheists, and yet here we are.

God answers, you just refuse to listen. People don't like being told what is right and what is wrong. They want to make up their own rules to make themselves happy. That is why there are atheists. They don't want to believe in God. God puts christians in front of you every day telling you about him, but you refuse to listen. It is your choice. God won't force you to believe in Him. God doesn't speak in a loud booming voice in the sky. He whispers. He frequently works through other people. But, like I said, atheists don't want to listen, so that is their choice, but don't expect God to stop trying. If you don't want to believe in God, then stop asking Christians to explain God to you. You make it look like you are searching and really do want to know God. Of course, maybe you really are searching, and just don't want to admit it.

Try thinking about it in this way, maybe it will help you..
God is a spirit, or a power, or an energy, the bible describes it for purposes of understanding as 'The Word'.
How does a person ask 'The Word' or a power something ? By doing what 'The Word' or power replies, much like when a son asks the father something and there is a reply.
The difference is that this father and son can only be seen and known by spiritual reborn people.
That is the reason why people do not believe , as you said,' blind and deaf ' and cannot see...but stupid is not the right word.
My personal opinion is that you will believe, only after someone has explained the truth about God and His Kingdom to you, the same as any other subject that is greek to you.
And thereafter you still have your free will anyway to do what the word says, or not.

Some people hide behind God or the Bible when they don't want to answer your question or deal with you. Don't get hung up on labels...we often speak of the same things, and then become divided on the name. There is something greater than yourself out there...so great that you can't wrap your mind around it. It is in the air you breath, the thoughts you think, and in every one you meet...in all living things. It is energy, intelligence, and contains all wisdom. It is inside you...not the other way around. We are spirits having a human experience...and when you take the time, you discover your answers from within. It is available to all of us, without discrimination. You probably believe...but just didn't know it. Don't confuse it with the Supernatural.

Well, first of all you can't approach God without faith, believe that He is, now, when Jesus was alive, only a few had faith, even witnessing the miracles, there's even a parable that Jesus taught about a poor man and a rich man, one went to hell and begged him from the "other side" to send messengers to his brothers telling him about this place (it's in Luke 11) God's response was that they wouldn't believe anyway and that they had the scriptures and prophets all ready. BUT, I do know He does show himself to those who honestly seek the truth. I've heard several stories of people, even in other religions and parts of the world that there was no christians or Bibles around that have had visitations of Jesus, but maybe in your mind you don't even leave a door open for the possibility: What if there is a God , What if He really loves me or would talk to me? I've heard: "God will take even this : God I'm willing, to be willing." You should open up a little more and talk (ask) something like this: "God if you're real, show me please". Don't ask him for something specific, like :"If you're real let 10 red cars pass by", or "if you're real have Tammy call me back", but let Him do it. He knows you better than you know yourself, He made you and you are unique, He knows exactly what to do so you know it's Him without a shadow of a doubt, but don't fool around with God, He "rejects the proud and exalts the humble".
P.S.I'm sorry if there's christians that think this is disrespectful, bla bla bla, don't bother to argue with me I know this works I've shared the Gospel around the World with THOUSANDS of people one to one or small groups, for almost 10 years.GOD IS IN THE BUSINESS OF GETTING PEOPLE TO HEAVEN not keep them out and He'll take whatever little faith he can find I KNOW. The Bible teaches us ask and you will receive. Believe your prayers will be answered and they will. A closed mind cannot accept answers if they refuse to hear them. You did get a response. Everyone has a "gut instinct" about decisions or questions. There is an urge in all of us. If our hearts and minds are open enough, we can follow these instincts and be happier. This is God talking to your soul through your spirit.
I cannot speak for all Christians but I can say that God has knocked on the door and I have opened it up to Him and carry on a loving relationship with Him because of that. It has to come from deep down and not just on the surface where fear, resentment, and other human emotions cloud the heart and mind.
God has to find you but you have to truly be willing to let Him. You have to open yourself up and know when He is knocking on your door......

Did you ever think the reason we're on earth is to separate the believers from the non-believers? And no, most of the time you don't get a direct or indirect answer, but it doesn't matter, just keep having faith and in the end it'll be ok.

you have to get god cable. right now you just have god satelite and that doesnt work very well.
i seriously dont know. maybe the thicker your skull is, the better the reception if that makes any sense.
