I would recommend you look at this: http://www.nofas.org/family/facts.aspx
The top bullet point or two:
Can I drink alcohol when I am pregnant?
No. Do not drink alcohol when you are pregnant. When you drink alcohol, such as beer, wine, or mixed drinks, so does your baby. Alcohol is a substance known to be harmful to human development. When it reaches the blood supply of the baby, it can cause permanent defects to the major organs and central nervous system.
Is there any kind of alcohol I can drink during pregnancy?
No. Drinking any kind of alcohol can hurt your baby. Alcoholic drinks can include beer, wine, liquor, wine coolers, or mixed drinks.

You shouldn't even drink one drop, if you even think you are pregnant. Even one glass a day can cause damage to the brain, that will cause problems to your child for the rest of its life. Don't take the chance, and be responsible if you are carrying a new life inside of you.

I come from a Mediterranean family and my yia yia (grandmother) swore by the glass of wine a day theory. But when my wife was pregnant yia yia said that 1 glass every other day was enough to help mother and child. But don't use that as an excuse to indulge.

Do not drink when you are pregnant at all. From all I have heard from doctors any amount of drinking can do serious damage to your child. So I wouldn't risk it...

Alcohol is bad for the baby. Of course so it caffiene, hot water, charred foods, pollution, over the counter medicines, prescription medicines, etc. You should not drink to intoxication or make drinking a habit, but one glass of wine will not retard your baby.

NO, it is a known fact that alchohol harms your unborn child, it does cross the placenta...people also say that after the first trimester it's ok to have a little...if your baby was fully developed at the first trimester your could deliver it, but its not so you could damage something on your baby

if i were you i wouldn't drink anything like that while i was pregnant. but it's your choice on how healthy you want your baby to be when it is born. it could end up premature or have a disability or even a disease. My neighbor's baby is premature and he nearly died when he was born b/c his mother smoked and drank a lot.
