Good cardio is very important.

Grapple, with guys of a heavyer weight classes. This should help you condition your body. Go for like 5 or 6 min then take a min break then go again.

anyone who tells you size and/or strength don't make a difference has never been in a real fight. period. the whole "idea" of bjj (and MANY other arts) is to not come to RELY on using strength as your default defense mechanism. this does not mean strength is unimportant. your muscles move your body..quite simple. if those muscles are stronger, your body will move stronger, faster, and more efficiently. thats why every single professional athlete does strength training.

Weights. But don't train for bulk. What's really important is getting past your lactic acid threshold. Use weights to push you to that limit then 10 reps past it. Also, you should concentrate on plyometrics. The key in BJJ is transitions. You gotta be quick.

kettle bell training, russian bell training...

use of body weight of a training partner while training...

sports specific strength, speed, agility and endurance training..

high altitude training also helps
