They both believe Jesus was just a prophet. They both believe that Jesus was impaled on a stake.

They also both believe that the man should lead in prayer and if a woman leads a prayer in the presence of a man, she should wear a head covering. Hmmm.... Curious....

The "Jehovah's Witnesses," have made the most phenominal progress of all the religious sects of the past hundred years, on a percentage basis. The Bahaies are moving at a snails-pace in comparison, actually receding in ratio with the other Christian off-shoots. These "Witnesses" are the fittest in their fight against the other Christians as well as against the Muslims. Simply because they programme themselves five times a week in their "Kingdom Halls," and what they learn they implement during the week-ends. Muslims are supposed to be "programmed" five times a day in our daily Salaat, but we have lost the true purpose of this Pillar of Islam. Our Salaat is for earning Sawaab (spiritual blessings) only.

They have made the word JEHOVAH famous. They knock at people's doors, asking the question - "What is His Name?" The orthodox Christian replies - "God." They say, "God is not a name, it is an object of worship. What's His Name?" "Father," says the orthodox as a second try. "Is your father God?" Of course not! So what is His Name? "JEHOVAH! is His Name," says the "Witness" to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. He has become a professor of this one word. He has made it into a religion.

muslim doctrin and catholic and jewish doctrine are far from jehovah witness :

Jesus Christ believed that the Devil was real. Jesus was not tempted by some evil inside himself. He was attacked by a real person whom he later called "the ruler of the world." (John 14:30; Matthew 4:1-11)

We learn a lot about the Devil when we consider Jesus' words to religious teachers of his day: "You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie."—John 8:44.

The Devil lied about the tree of the knowledge of good and bad.

jehovah s witness lie too : Take your stand against the Devil by studying God's Word and praying regularly

Jehovah's Witnesses are between the few religions that do not believe that the Trinity Doctrine is a bible training. We do believe that Jehovah is the Almighty God, yet Jehovah and Allah are not from now on an similar. Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer believe that Jesus became purely an truly good guy, yet he's the only begotten son of God and the Messiah. Jehovah's Witnesses to no longer bypass to warfare, or get keen about politics. We do drink alcohol carefully. i quite don't understand a good purchase about Islam, except they believe that Mohamed became an ancestor of Ishmael.

hello,

Muslims dont believe Jesus was crucified. What Muslims believe happened was that Allah saved him from his enemies and raised him to heaven. They never killed Jesus, they killed someone else.

However, Christianity and Islam do have many similarities, such as they believed in Prophet like Abraham and Solomon, even though their stories might differ a little. They both believe in the day of Judgement, etc.

Also, women must wear the hijab (which is not just a headcovering, but the whole body must be covered and no tight-fitting clothing) even if they are praying alone.

First of all, Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe that Jesus was just a prophet. We believe he is the only begotten SON of God.

Second the head covering during prayers is Biblical 1Corinthians 11:4-6, 10.

Jehovah's Witnesses recognize that Jesus was far more than "just a prophet". In fact, the Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Trinitarian propaganda such as this "question" are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, and to try and pretend that the Witnesses are not "Christian".

In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Yea, I think the Jehova witnesses believe Christ is the son of god, But you are very right in that Muslims, Jews and Christians are very close and similar in their beliefs. They share similar ideas, but there is a very different fundamental base, and that is jesus being the son of god. A good question to ask would be, what do jews and christians think of Muhammed?

muslims dont believe that Jesus was impaled by a stake. we believe he was crucified but the man that was actually crucified wasnt Jesus, rather another man. God replaced the real Jesus with that man.

We don't believe that he was just a prophet. We KNOW that he is God's son!
John 3:16 "For Jehovah loved the worl so much that he gave his only begotten son in order everyone exercising faith in him might not perish but have everlasting life." That's pretty self explanitory

Ermm.... I'd agree if you'd push it out a bit more. As in, "don't you think that Muslims are much closer to Christians than we give them (and 'Christians')credit for?"
