Cats are nocturnal creatures, so therefore it is natural for them to be on the go at night. Try keeping them away later in the afternoon and early evening as much as you possibly can. Play with them, or get them going so that they play with each other. Feed them just a few hours before you want to go to bed, a full tummy aids in sleep. Also, put out some catnip for them, it has a calming effect on them. And close your bedroom door if you can't sleep through their night time antics. You may be able to lessen them, but you won't stop them all together

I, too, have two cats that love to party all night long. All day, they are curled up and snoozing but as soon as my head hits the pillow, they are up and needing attention. They either want to be fed or are begging to go out. (We have coyotes so I keep them inside all the time) This is the only thing that has worked for me. When I go to bed, I put them in my garage. I leave food, water and each have cushions that they can rest on. If you are able to try this, make sure that your garage is kitty safe and free of poisons, paints or other chemicals they might get into. I hope this helps and you can get some sleep.

I guess by now you know that cats are nocturnal, I have the same problem, what I've done is to get some toys, little balls filled with catnip, catnip laced toy mice and other small toys that they might show interest in.
About eight or nine o'clock at night make sure they are awake and get them interested with their toys, get them moving around for about an hour or two and this should help wearing them down before you go to bed.

Well, cats are nocturnal animals and would sleep during the day. What do you mean that they are "crazy"? When you try to sleep, do they jump all over the place? Maybe they would like to play? Sometimes my grandma's cat gets sick and throws up on the floor. Are they doing that? I need a bit more detail.

Cats are naturally nocturnal, that is not something that can be changed. I also have two cats, and what works for me is giving them treats right before I go to bed. They eat the treats, then curl up and go to sleep. By the time they start running around again, I am asleep.

Cats are by nature, nocturnal. It is real hard to get them to change this. A good thing to try is to play with them as much as possible during the day to keep them awake. This helps them change to sleeping a bit more at night. Another thing is to get them QUIET toys to play with at night that will not affect your sleep. Good Luck

cats are usually more active at night. You might try to keep them awake more during the day, or try putting them in a cage at night or lock them in a small room ( with food, water, and a litter box) for the night. Unless you are where you can put them outside.

Lock them out of your bedroom. They are nocturnal and will naturally want to play all night. If that is not possible, try squirting them with water when they get really loud. They will stop what they are doing immediately and you will get some peace while they pause to lick the water off.

until i read the whole question i was gonna say a microwave. But maybe you should try and figure a way to get them more active in the day so they might tire by night.

well for starters....cat are NOCTURNAL!! that means, they are up at night. so trying to get them to up during the day time goes against their heritage!

try putting them in a room of their own at night, making sure you give them PLENTY of things to play with. cats are predators and LOVE to "hunt" at night.a kitty condo is a WONDERFUL way to entertain your cats, and keep them from getting BORED!

here is a link to some examples.
