Is there any site I can go to to download a FREE software or anything that can CONVERT real PICTURES into CARTOONS? you know, like make my picture look somewhat like a cartoon but it's the same photo???

There is an old program ... Kai's Power Goo .... it was seperate from the other Kai's Power Tools (now called Corel KPT).

I don't know how you would find it ... you might try ebay, could prolly get it for $5 ... but it was lots of fun ...

Once you learn to use them, you can do it in a number of steps using most image editing programs.

That's tough - try going to Cnet.com, then the downloads page - they offer TONS of sites that have free and pay downloads - they have user reviews, etc, the whole thing; they even let you do searches for what you are looking for - I get most of my graphic software from them because they can let you choose between free stuff and the pay stuff. You might want to try Pixia, but it won't convert the pics like you want.

Not that I am aware. It would be a very complex algorithm to decipher pixels into some form of animation. Usually, the film industry require a computer graphic artist to do the brain work

yah! You can use AdobePhotoshop. first open the picture which you want to convert into the cartoon. then click filter, select sketch and use any type you like.
