depending on what age you are, i think it means that since you are apart she hopes that everything she is telling you isn't making things harder on you. sounds like she is having a rough time with friends and has probably made a few bad decisions but is now finding a place for herself. unfortunately for you if you are her date - she is finding comfort with other males. the other side of it is maybe she needs someone to really talk to and your reassurance that you are there for her. girls can be complicated. just be open and ask her what she means. she'll tell you.

Sounds like someone who has just moved and is trying to get her feet grounded with new friends in a new place. I have been there a few times, so I know the pain she is going through.

It could be in reference to the boys that won't leave her alone, or it could juist be in reference to how hard a time she is having, and she doens't want you to feel bad knowing she is going through a very rough time. and it might be hard for you to read, as a friend, or whatever, to see your friend suffering and know you can't help her.

I'd think that the girl writing this has moved away from someone she cared about, and that she thinks they may worry about her. Hence the painful at the end. Like if she's unhappy the person she's writing to may be upset by it also.

By 'painful', she realizes that she is endlessly prattling on and on about herself. She thinks (or is fishing for a compliment) that you might not care about the topic she is writing about.

It sounds like she is a little out of her element and needs a friend whom she knows and is comfortable with.

That was painful to read! I wanted to gouge my eyes out so that I wouldn't read anymore!! So, if you were wondering "what the hell is this person talking about??!!", don't feel alone, cause I thought the exact same thing!
