Yes, if you reduce your intake for a long period of time, your stomache will shrink. But you can stretch it out again.

Yes. When you eat less, your stomach shrinks to the size of your meals.

Just remember that eating a small amount for a long time then eating alot is bad for your stomach and encourages your body to make all the food into fat to save for times when there isn't any food.

Yes, your stomache contracts and expands depending on how much food you put into it. You can eat a lot more times per day, but just stick with the small or very small amounts. The ideal is to never eat an amount of food larger than your fist.

It's bad to barely eat. And it's bad to eat a lot. Try to find a balance between the two. And well, I guess your stomach gets smaller if you only eat 2 small meals a day... But what are you skipping? Whatever you do, DON'T SKIP BREAKFAST!

Yes. Your stomach is hurting because its physical size has decreased, it can't handle as much food as before.
I agree with another responder who mentioned 'survival mode'.
It's true, your body might begin to think that it is starving and your metabolism will slow down and your body will start storing every bit of fat that it can.
I would suggest talking with a nutritionist who can help you figure out the right foods and right amounts of foods for you to eat-it is a better and healthier way to make a life style change.

You're hungry you dweeb!

Look...since I was 19 I have been surving on a healthy diet of coffee and cigarettes daily until 7PM at night when I eat a nice, healthy dinner of meat, starch and at least two green vegatables.
This has worked for me for the past 30 years. Now it may not be good for you but it keeps me fit, trim and healthy (annual physical every year bears this out along with EKG and lung X-Rays).

So as my diet probably isn't up your alley, try eating something that will stick with you until dinner. maybe a rice or grain dish. Avoid bread if possible as a filler.

You are actually not suppose to skip meals. They say eat more meals a day in much smaller portions. More meals keep your metabolism up. You should also drink lots of water.

be careful with that. when you cut out meals. Your body goes into "suvival mode" and it stores up body fat. Don't cut out meals just eat 3 smaller meals.

of coarse, if you don't enough in a day. You will lose body fat easily. I should know, I barely enough and my stomach feels half of half inside for lunch.
