read a feing sue book to enhance your mood for the clear out , make a mood board with the colours and furniture you'd like to get you going and see how you would want your room .
why not do a car boot to make extra cash to get the room you want .
or give it to a charity shop and have that warm fuzzy feeling to kick start you .
i know the feeling its hard to get motivated but when you start you wont stop until your done .
how about getting someone to help you this always encourages me to do more and have a gossip and someone Else's point of view . good luck .

1. Seperate everything in your room in to groups. Ex: papers, clothes, knick-knacks, memorabilia, pictures, books, etc

2. Go through each pile one at a time and get rid of all the stuff you do not care to have. If you are a sentimental person, remember that you do NOT need every ticket stub, etc. It is JUNK- get rid of it! GARAGE SALE TIME!!

3.If you love something but don't want it out in the room, get one plastic tub and use it for MEMORIES only! This is for items you cherish but you do not want out in your room... (old mums, an ugly figurine your grandma gave you, your 3rd grade trophy for whatever...)

4. For papers (my problem), get a file box and manilla folders adn file everything into appropriate files: phone bill, report cards, college applications, love letters, dream wedding magazine cutouts, whatever!

5. Make sure all dirty clothes stay in the dirty clothes basket!

6. Frame a few pictures and put the rest in a n album or a photo box and store it under the bed in the MEMORY tub or on a bookshelf with your books. Throw away CD and DVD cases and keep them in albums. It takes up less room.

7. Decorate any flat surface. If it is all pretty and decorated w/ fabric, a picture frame, a vase or whatever, you will be less likely to lay your clutter on it.

8. Get a solid color bedspread and curtains. Patterns can make the room look too busy and messy.

9. make your bed every day. It makes a room look 110% neater.

You can transform a bedroom closet design quickly, easily, and inexpensively by installing a modular closet system. There are many competing storage systems and products, so take a look at several systems before deciding.

There are two main types of do-it-yourself systems; those made of ventilation coated-wire components, and those made of solid particleboard components with a high pressure-plastic laminate.

Mixing solid-wood components with wire shelves and rod makes sense some cases, for instance…there are some items they want to look at and other they would like to store.
If you plan a system carefully, you can double the amount of storage area available.

It’s a good idea to have a few hooks but not too many or your closet will look messy. Slide-out drawers may not be worth the cost; simple and cheap shelving usually work just as well.

In addition to the usual bedroom closet design, think about under-the-bed storage, as well as under the eaves if you have attic space. But also think about smaller pieces like file cabinets, and freestanding storage.

A combination of drawers and cupboards, and open shelves with doors offers the most flexibility. In most cases the easiest way to plan is to start with a shelf or drawer unit somewhere in the middle. It often helps to divide a large closet in half or in thirds to make it easier to find things.

Been there, done that, and helped others do the same.

First, sort the stuff you don't want or need away from what you do want, and get rid of it. If you need help, get three bags: One for 'Keeper' stuff, one for 'maybe', and one for 'Gone'.

Once you get rid of the 'Gone' stuff, you should have space opened up.

Next, move your furniture and clean everything. Believe it or not, it does help.

After that, you should be able to organize your 'Keeper' stuff neatly and in a way that looks nice.

If you don't have any, get a few shelves. And considerring getting a few hooks or brackets so you can hang things.

If the project is too overwhelming, break it down into steps and get someone to help you.

Good luck!

Well throw out the things you dont need, clear out your room and give the room a good clean.

Then just keep the things you really need on a daily basis, arrange them neatly, and the rest put it in a box and keep it in the attic, somewhere where you can get to them if needed.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/4YOaC
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

Tv set is produced to the cheapest common denominator - i.e., the average IQ of everyone, whereas a reserve is written to the highest common denominator

Cleaning, storage bins, are great ideas even under the bed containers are good for seasonal clothes. I organize my clothes
like this, one closet for pants and blouses on hangers. Shelf's depending on the season dress shorts, sweat pants, baskets (square) stockings one basket for each color. Dress shoes heels on two shelves paired. Belt rack on wall for belts one hook for bed clothes. Second closet skirts, jackets, suits, dresses, on shelf in this closet ate baskets with scarves, and purses. Floor in this closet is several racks with casual shoes and sneakers, purses are on a on the shelf as books in a library. I have found this the easiest plan and naturally put everything away as soon as you change clothes. Shelves in armoire are sweaters according to sleeve length, drawers are for underwear, pj's, t shirts and jeans.

Hope this helps.

First, throw most of it OUT..seriously....this is just STUFF and it isn't going to bring you $$ or anything else,,,,just a place to collect dust. You can have a "memory" without having a "thing" to take up space...................the more you pitch the better you feel...you will feel less encumbered, free even........
