Best and fastest i have 2 hrs to get ready and i have never made them in my life!!!
Help ME!!!!

i cook a lb of bacon then I add an onion chopped up. After the bacon is cooked then I add the collard greens after washing them and cutting them about 1 inch a piece. Then add the collard greens to the pot (reduce heat)and leave them in a covered pot for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Oh and if you don't have a cup of chicken stock. Add a cup of water.

You are in luck. I am a third generation okie and a cook. Clean very well and boil in water until tender, now for the taste, salt the water lightly add a little pepper and I prefer fresh garlic but powered garlic is OK, NO GARLIC SALT, bad cook,bad cook. Good luck and enjoy

i fry up some bacon and onion n garlic add collard greens top w a lil white wine and let simmer im not sure how others make theirs

Once you wash them, then make sure you have a piece of meat you seasoning (whatever to your taste) and boil. I think the hardest part of washing the greens. Good luck.

clean,chop,add fresh smoked ham hock,ok a lil vingar sesonsand boil to very tender and enjoy.
