Is it bad to run too much? I assume it is, but how much is a dangerous ammount? I love to run and it's good exercise, sometimes i want to run 2ce or more a day. Is that bad? What should be my limit on running? (I'm 18 yrs old and in good enough shape, haha)

Definitely.

Make sure you build up your mileage slowly however. You shouldn't increase your mileage more than 10% in any week. In addition, for every 3 weeks of increases, be sure to take one week where you back off and go back to your pre-3-week mileage. So if you are currently doing 20 miles per week and you want to increase it, go for 22 this week, 24 next week and then 27 the following. After that go back down to 22 for a week as a recovery week.

Some guys train in the 90 - 110 miles per week -- especially the serious ones. Those are the very serious, elite athletes.

Something to remember is that the more mileage you rack up, the more likely you are to become injured by an overuse issue. Listen to your body, especially if you start getting burned out, sore, or have other issues.

Good luck.

You can do anything too much....sometimes exercise turns into an unhealthy obsession. If you are training then some people run several times a day, it can be perfectly healthy.

Just listen to your body, if you have aches/ pains slow down. Remember to hydrate yourself well. If you have too much exercise and are not well hydrated you can hurt your kidneys/ have too much latic acid released into the large leg muscles that cause terrible charlie horses or leg cramps.

you can run a long time but it can get dangerous if you run too long and youve hardly had any sleep or anything to drink or eat.If youve been running for about 30 minutes no stop then you should definetly stop and catch your breath.
