I have a prescription, but I have yet to begin on the ring. I am a little nervous, does any one have any comments about it, good or bad.

It is hormonal. As far as I know, there is no specific data on the specific side effects associated with it (it hasn't been around long enough), but one has to assume they are the same as with any other hormonal form of birth control, including permanent infertility and death. For more information, please read _The Doctor's Case Against the Pill_ by Barbara Seaman. I haven't seen the new edition, but I read the old one 30 years ago.

I hated it. You can't feel it IF you put it in right. But, I found it annoying and difficult to urinate with it in.
