well most of the time people say when any animal eats grass they're sick but that doesnt mean they're sick because my dog will eat grass sometimes maybe your dog just likes the way grass tastes but i'm not that much of an animal expert but i do know a lot about dogs so i hope i helped you a lil but if not then just call your local vet or animal hospital and ask them

Dogs eat grass because they like it. Eating it for any other reason is a myth. They sometimes throw up after eating it because the have a long piece they gag on, they eat too much or they ate grass that had been chemically treated and the chemicals made them ill.

What kind of tablets did you give him? I hope that it was something from your vet! Our dogs usually ate grass when they had something in their stomach and they wanted to vomit it out. Most animals graze a little bit. It assists them in digesting things and easing stomach problems. Just make sure that there are no toxins (i.e. fertilizer or weed killer) in the grass that he eats.

Watch him over-night, maybe he just ate something wierd. I know cats eat grass on purpose to make themselves puke, I don't know if that is true for dogs or not. Just watch him and make sure he gets alot of fluids.
