If he is all powerful and all knowing, why does God care if we worship him? Shouldn't God be above ego? Isn't he in eternal battle with Satan for our souls? Wouldn't sending people to Hell require some form cooperation with Satan?

Why would God create people just to worship him and then punish them with an eternity of suffering for not doing so?

Its funny how no one can answer this question. I would really like to know. Please convince me. I can be very open minded. Try not to insult me just because I have asked a question you can not answer.

Okay for all you saying that God doesn't demand we worship him. Then why do we go to Hell if we don't worship him. Sounds like a demand to me.

God created Adam to worship him because he wanted companionship. Even the most powerful person in the world wants someone to love them, thats y so many people have pets. So anyway, God created Adam and Eve and you, to love him. When u reject God and reject your purpose and choose to ignore him, God doesn't send u anywhere, you send yourself to hell. Of course Satan getting more souls is not helping God at all. What's the point of creating life, just to have satan take them in the end? That's why God fights so hard to have you turn back to goodness, so that you don't end up with satan. But don't worry, in the end God defeats Satan anyway, it's already pre-written, so why not join the winning team?

God doesn't obligate people to worship Him. Yes God looks for real true worship that worship him and truth and in spirit. No one can worship God by obligation, because all the worship he is doing would be an abomination to God's ear.

Worshiping to God is something of faith, The flesh is not willing to worship God, but the spirit is always able and willing. So it is not my mouth, it is by the Holy Spirit of the Lord.

I don't feel obligated to worship God, I love Worshiping God, it is what I do best.
About the devil, no God doesn't work with the devil, and the devil cannot do anything to people without God's concern.

Read the bible more, Seek for youth bible studies if that is what you desire, cause don't come saying that we are obligating you. But the only way you can find the truth, is by seeking.

I never understood that either
if you had children but got angry if they didn not worship you, society would lock you up or send you to a psychologist.

it is like god made everything but is somehow victim to it.
he made the game and it is designed for us to lose and its our fault??

like original sin:
there is sin and even if you are perfect and never did anything wrong, you still have this sin (from adam and eve)
if you do not repent and beg forgiveness then you will go to hell and be tortured for all eternity

gee thanks alot god

god should create the ultimate video game to play so he can stop hassling us

there is a misconception here. God never demand man to worship Him. we have a free will. God is a God of Glory and God will never force anyone to do something for Him. I f God did, He will never be the God of glory only satan forces us to do something for him and other people God never.we are not created to worship God, we are created to take God as our life life supply and everything, to represent God and express God. seek the truth and read by yourself don't be misinformed and don't listen to wrong teachings.

God doesn't "demand" that we worship Him. If He did, then everyone would be worshipping Him -- nobody would have a choice in the matter.

But we do have a choice. We can choose to acknowledge God in our worship and in our daily lives.

Or we can choose not to -- at our own spiritual risk.

God doesn't force Himself on anyone. One of the greatest gifts that He bestowed on us is free will -- and as with any other gift, we can put it to good use, or to not-so-good use.

Ypu are very wrong in your way of thinking. When Adam and Eve ate the apple, and as they were the father and mother of all mankind, and all of us their children,we wer all from that moment on doomed to hell and so Jesus died on the cross to give us a chance to enter Heaven and live eternally with him. So,he doesnt co-opeate with the devil in sending pipo to hell for they choose hell when they decide not to follow God!

Go to church if you want to understand the answers to those questions.

Why would you ask questions you have actually have no interest in? You're not convincing anyone of anything except that you have a very small brain. Go on, if you have to. Nobody cares that you look like an idiot.

I agree, if we were born to worship him, why don't we? Sorry, I was told not to believe everything I read, especially when there is no proof. And, if he is all knowing, then it doesn't matter if I type this or not because he knows what I am thinking! And furthermore, he, I believe, is a she! Men don't have that much of a catty nature.

i don't believe god would want us to worship .. as you said he( she ) should be above ego , i believe god simply enjoys when we pray, give thanks, have a chat
i don't go in for the whole Satan thing .. but quite rightly as you said i do believe that if there was a devil ... then he would be doing work along side god and cooperating with each other

To take it a step further... God created the Angels, of which Lucifer was one... didn't he KNOW he would go all rogue on him? And if he's all powerful... couldn't he just zap him from existance?

Doesn't that mean that God, in essence, created evil?

Also... if God is omnipotent, and knows all... knows the outcome of things beforehand... why do we even live? Is it all just a game?

Sigh...
