what r your views on masturbation. do u think its perfectly healthy, or do you think its quite sad and pathetic and for losers who dont have girlfriends and boyfriends. i am unsure about masturbation, whether its right or not, many people seem to think it corrupts the soul, and that we need to control these urges that we have. but i am not sure as it can lead to repression if we dont do it, but then again if we are strong enough to control ourselves, their is nothing to repress. i masturbated quite regularly before when i was around 15-16, and i used to feel sick at myself for doing it. it just made me feel horrible like i was committing some sort of a sin. and then one day suddenly i just stopped around about the age of 16, and i am 19 now and i hadnt done it for three years and i am still a virgin btw. i want to do it, but at the same time i also dont want to as i think their is something wrong in doing it.

please help me out here, what exactly are yor views on masturbation

It's great, it's healthy, and there is nothing wrong with it. If you can find a female friend for mutual satifaction, even better. Whatever gets you off.
Sorry..........

Some people think that they gain something through making themselves suffer. And then these people force their morals on society. Oh, and if someone feeds you lines such as wasting your seed, consider you make more sperm in a day than you lose in an ejaculation. The only reason you felt sick was because they got to you. There's nothing physiological that should have caused it. And no, it's not just for losers. I'm not sure about girls, but plenty of guys still masturbate while they're in a relationship, not because they lack physicality with their girlfriend but because they enjoy it.

Basically, it's all on you. If it's gonna make you sick from a moral perspective, then don't. Otherwise if you want to, go for it. Just don't get caught. Nothing wrong with masturbation, but it's still not pleasant to have someone walk in on you in the middle.

Can masturbation stunt my growth or anything like that?

Masturbation is when people rub their own genitals (the penis in males or the area around the vagina in females) because they like the way it feels. As kids get to their teen years, it's common to become more interested in sexual development and feelings.

Lots of people have heard all sorts of things about masturbation. Some people worry that masturbation may cause diseases, interfere with growth, cause mental problems, or stop a person from having children - but those things aren't true.

Masturbation is often considered a private topic, though, and some people may feel embarrassed to think or ask about it. And when you're too embarrassed to talk about something, you might learn things that may not be accurate.

What individual views on a perversion aren't what's important. It's what God has said about "lusts of the flesh" and how they lead you to other sins in your life.

I imagine along with that peversion, you are probably caught up in pornography, which is another sin. If you have lusted in your heart, then you have already commited the sin as if you've had the sex act.

If you are more interested in lust and not as interested in how you can grow to be a strong, honorable man for the woman God will provide for you to marry, then you're already on the wrong road.

Society has seduced young people into thinking this peversion is a "natural" thing. Sin is the natural state of human beings. Yes. But there is nothing honorable about those things that cause us to be perverted.

Your reasons for why it might be bad are flimsy at best...masturbation is quite naturaly, not unhealthy, and in fact about the only form of truly "safe sex" there is...

People in relationships often masturbate, so it's not just singles and losers...a guy once told me re: how many men masturbate - 90% will say they do and the other 10% are liars...LOL!

There's nothing sad or pathetic about it...it feels good, it's a safe way to have stimulation when you are without a partner...and a nice supplement to a healthy sex life when you do have a partner...

It's all good...

I beleive that is a necessary part of growing up, because when teens get sexual urges, they need to have an outlet for it, or they turn to intercourse too early. Sexual intercourse doesn't have ot be the answer when someone gets horny. We'd have another baby boom if masturbation didn't exist! It is NOT for losers who don't have a partner. It is also not un-Christian. God gave us our own bodies. Why would we not be allowed to explore ourselves, and do what feels good? The clitoris doesn't have any other use other than providing sexual pleasure. Why not use it for that?

It is perfectly normal and healthy and you shouldnt feel bad about doing it. Sins are in the eye of the beholder. Trust me married folk and folk in committed relationships masturbate. It is not for the weak, lonely, or losers. Its for ANY and EVERYONE.

You see, there are two kinds of people: The one's who masturbate, and the one's who lie and say they don't. If its sin you're worried about, then I've got good news and bad news for you. The bad news is it's a sin to even wanna masturbate. The good news is, since you were gonna have to repent anyway...

Masturbation is a very normal part of your life. You are learning about your body, what feels good, what feels bad and everything in between. If you didnt at least try it a few times i would be concerned you were abnormal!

Masturbation is a normal activity that men and women both enjoy, I for one had a tough time with it growing up and not knowing about ones body, however as I get older and wiser :) it is a great tool either by yourself or with your partner, which I have just started experimenting with. :) Enjoy yourself. :)
