It sounds like you guys are ready. If it is osmething you both want and can afford it have fun. Besides you might not get pregnant right away. It may take a few months or even a year (hopefully not) but you never know. So I say start trying and see what happens. Congrats I hope it happens sooner then later. My husband and I have been together for the same amount of time 7 years and will be married 2 in august we are trying. We have been trying for about 3 months nothing yet but hopefully soon.

No I don't think so. Your are both so young and there is so much more you guys can do. Once you have a baby your whole life changes. There is so much responsibility. It has nothing to do with money, though money does help. Having a baby is a huge commitment from you and your partner. It takes aup so much of your time. Life a little more and do all the things you want to do now while you still can because it is really difficult to plan things or go away on vacations when you have a baby. There is plenty of time for you to have children. I'd wait till at least mid twenties.

Definitely! My husband and I started having children when I was 17. Yes, I know that was young but we were together since 7th grade. We got married when I turned 17 and he was 20 and bought our first home right before our son was born. Our son is now 6 yrs old and we have added a beautiful little girl, now 20 months and now are starting to try for our 3rd. If you feel you have enough money and are secure with a place and job and your both ready then sure go ahead, there isn't better time then. And it great having children when your still young and ready for them.

I think you'd do best to wait and have a baby later. There's really plenty of time. Why don't you and your husband do some things together with the "good money" you're making. See a little bit of the country and the world. Live a little. Once children arrive everything changes. I don't mean it changes for the "bad," but you don't have the same options you have when it's just you and your husband.

All You can do is pray about it and discuss it , however a baby changes everything I'm 24 my husbands 30 and we didn't realize how much we would have to give up. It sometimes really has an impact on our marriage. So give it serious consideration, a baby is forever, and your still young you might want to have fun together for just a little longer. Don't get me wrong i love my baby more than anything i wouldn't change a thing.

7 years and you are only 19? wow.....you haven't even really lived yet! only you know if you are ready for this, but you have got to be sure that you are with the man you want to spend the rest of your life with! just because you are stable and can afford a baby does not mean you are truly ready. be wise and think this through.

Of course it is.Earlier you have a baby earlier you can retire and enjoy your life.Anyway kids will be good for your relationship but bear in mind that having a kid is a great responsibility. You must be prepared to sacrifice alot of things and only think what is best for the baby. The partying gotta stop are you prepared to do that!!!

No, I think you're both too young. I had twins at 17 and it's been a LONG hard struggle. Yes, I WAS married. You should just be young, be a couple for a few more years and enjoy each other...

Just my two cents honey...good luck, Marilyn

Yes, if you have reached a point financially that you can quit work and stay home with the baby while continuing your current lifestyle, I'd say it is a great time to add on to your family.
