Patients today with the same symptoms as those said to be possessed with demons in New Testament times, respond to chemotherapy. This is significant, for if indeed the ailment were due to demon possession, as some suggest, how can the patient's recovery through medicine and therapy be explained? Can pills cast out demons?

Although the narratives appear to indicate that the "spirits" cried out, it is clear that the vocalization of the sounds came from the demoniac. This is implied in the shift of pronouns in Mark 5:7, 9: "What have I to do with thee?"2 cf. "I adjure thee by God that thou torment me not "My name is Legion: for we are many."

After the miraculous cure by Jesus, Legion is described as "clothed and in his right mind." (Mark 5:15). This implies that his affliction was insanity and not the influence of a fallen angel. (The request that the unclean spirits enter the swine is characteristic of some kinds of schizophrenics who fear the return of the insanity).

Of course not, I'm a Christan and I believe in demons.
I think you are referring to Paganism, which is the religious name sometimes adopted for a coven of witches. Paganism is divided into several segments, those who primarily worship trees, earth, water, etc, like Druids, those who worship mystical properties within those things which they can't necessarily explain but are fascinated with, and finally, those who are involved in black magic which is the study of, emulation of and deliberate submission to demonic spirits in which the worshiper seeks to obtain supernatural powers indirectly for their own use by petitioning demons for direct intervention. This is possible but it takes away the soul of the one who does it because in order for the human to be able to appeal to demons and be accepted they must be as wicked and evil as the demons.

No, everyone who believes in the existence of demons is not pagan. Jesus believed in the existence of demons and He certainly was not pagan.

Jesus talked to demons....their real. I'm worried about people who don't believe in demons.
being attacked day after day by an enemy that we refuse to believe exists? no wonder Christians are so tired, stressed, worried and always under the damnation of their own minds!

Free yourselves! chase them away with the power of God and feel the difference. That's what I did.
No more depression...it just left me, true story
