I had Home Depot install hex tiles in my small bathroom last year. The cost was just over $300 including the cost of the tile. I pulled the toilet stool out and did the prep work myself. They did everything else except putting the toilet stool back in.
You will need a good solid sub-floor. If you have good, solid, level and, smooth plywood now, that will work fine. If the floor is not flat and smooth, you might want to go with a self-leveling pourable subfloor product. You buy that in bags from the home improvement store and mix it in bucket. That gets poured on the floor and flows out until level. You do have to block things off so that it does not run out the door or down the stool pipe, but with a little care, it is pretty easy. You end up with a very nice subfloor that is easy to tile. If you can't do that part yourself, expect that to add to the cost. The same with pulling up a toilet. Not a hard project, but if you can't do it there will be an extra cost.
