i perfer bacardi
and not jus b/c its in a 50 cent song
its good
vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol, so far at least
not like i'd have a prob drinking it

I do like certain types of rum.
However, I tend to stick more towards vodka's.
A affordable priced vodka that is extra smooth would be Mad Monk Vodka, no jokes. Give it a try.
As for Rum it does come in handy with baking recipies and grilling sauces.

I prefer Rum as Well. Capt. Morgan is my Favorite Pirate! argh!
If you want Vodka, Try Iceberg. Uses the purest water in the world. 10,000 year old melted Icebergs. Good water, makes good Vodka

Bacardi Limon was my very first drink. I've changed flavors and brands a lot since then but rum is still my drink of choice.

I love rum, but I'd have to say vodka...especially if it's Grey Goose or Ciroc vodka.
