Girls, are you impressed if a guy your dating tells you he has a good job? I design aeroplanes for a living, would you be impressed if I told you this on our date?

no i am more impressed with a guy like my husband who hates his job (due to a very bad working environment)
but would rather keep working (he has never had a day of sick in his working life of more that 14 years)
he would rather work to keep a roof over our heads and food on the tablwe than sit at home claiming benifits

a job does not make a man

rather his attitude

definately, it would mean that you are obviously intelligent and that is good. as much as we protest to the idea of being interested in a guy with a profitable job, it is very likely to produce a few more dates. however if you turn out to be a real tosser, the more sincere girls will be gone.
so if you have a marvellous personality with the great job, stop fretting...it's not your money she's after.

girls go for guys pockets, the same way as guys go for girls' looks.

I would definitely let your job description drop into the conversation.

If she is impressed, she'll ask you more info.

If she isnt impressed, well, youll just have yo dazzle her via some other means!!

No - I think talking about your job is one of the dullest things imaginble.

If I'm going out with you - even for just a date, I'd be much more interested to hear about your hobbies, your politics, fun stories about you - that kind of thing.

I'd rather date a cycle courier who shared my point of view and was funny than a lawyer who didn't and wasn't.

Not necessarily. His personality is more impressive. Dishonesty would not get you very far the true always has a funny way of catching up.

I wouldn't be impressed necessarily, but I'd certainly be interested in hearing more.
