i need a good frosting recipe?

Here's a couple:

Chocolate Frosting:
1/3 cup softened butter
2 squares (1 oz each) melted and cooled chocolate
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teas vanilla
2 tbsp milk

Mix butter and chocolate. Stir in sugar. Beat in vanilla and milk until smooth.


Vanilla Frosting:
1/2 cup butter at room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teas vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar, milk and vanilla. Mix until light and fluffy. May need to be refrigerated to let harden a bit.

BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

1 cup crisco
1 cup butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 2# bag powdered sugar
5 TBSP. water

Cream butter and crisco and vanilla. add half of the powdered sugar and water. Mix. Add remaining powdered sugar. Mix until blended well. Refrigerate unused frosting. Can be frozen.

i know it sounds funny but my grandma uses liek 1/2 cup crisco to 1/2 cup of powdered sugar a teaspoon of vanilla or almond flavoring and about 1/3 cup of either cream cheese or sour cream whatever u like more.
