First
You should not be practicing sex if you don't know how to protect your self! What do you mean you are a family man? If you have a wife I have zero tolerance for adultery! If you don't have a spouse then wear a condom get the most information that you can about the person, stay away from hooker! I believe it's hard to be safe people can tell your anything and be lieing! So the safest way i say is to NOT HAVE SEX while you are away it will be hard if you are use to having sex but weigh the cause and effect of sex with someone you don't know do you really want to take the chance? And if you do have a spouse what would they think of you? Would it be okay for them to cheat if they were away? Is there anyway they can fly to you for a wk or so?

Hello!

I sympathize with your loneliness. But I think you're asking the wrong question! The real question is, "How can I best handle my loneliness in a way that best protects me and the people I love?"

Although having casual sex may keep you busy for a few minutes, it won't keep you from being lonely; it will actually increase your lonliness.

And as a family man, if you still love your wife, having sex outside of your marriage will add guilt to your loneliness and introduce secrecy into your marriage.

My recommendations are to:
-stay in touch with your wife and children, if they are not with you;
-cultivate healthy interests (exercise, learn to play an instrument, volunteer at a local service agency, listening to music, learn to fix a car, including cold showers, etc.) to occupy your time, mind and body, and to
-cultivate healthy and respectful friendships so that you can feel connected until you can go home. Maybe there's a support group or a church or social community that you can become a part of.

Part of being a mature adult means learning to be with your feelings, including loneliness, without letting them control you. Writing letters and keeping a diary can help.

The only sure way to avoid AIDS, etc. is avoid contaminated needles and avoid exchanging of body fluids with anyone, which means abstaining from sex. Even with the use of a condom, there is still a risk of contracting a disease.

And if you choose to take the risk of contracting AIDS by having casual sex anyway, do you really want to expose your wife to that risk, when you get back home and have sex with her?

My friend, it boils down to you taking responsiblity for making adult choices, and deciding what you're willing to risk in your life.

I wish you lots of luck!

Always use a latex condom before any genital contact. Use a dental dam if you are going to perform oral sex on a woman. Use condoms for oral sex on a man. Use a condom and lots of water-based lubricant before anal sex with anyone. It's important to only use water based lubricants because oil will degrade the condom and make it weaker. Also, avoid touching anyone's bodily fluids (This should be common sense.) IE blood, semen, vaginal secretions. Kissing should be ok for AIDS, but you could catch anything else they have (cold, flu, etc.). Please be safe. Think of your family. Of course, abstinance is the best way to avoid AIDS, but I suppose if you must, you must. Oh another thing, DO NOT USE ANY INTRAVENOUS DRUGS!!!! You never know if the needle is clean.

You did not mention the country you are visiting but here is a guideline I give to my patients:

a) England__Always wear the best protection possible EVERY
time.
b) Germany and surrounding countries__ Same as above. You can never be too careful!

c) Africa__ NEVER have sexual relations while in Africa! This is the hotbed for HIV. It is running rampant and there is no way to be sure a partner is safe.

d) South America__Same as for a & b.

To be sure, Call the CENTER for DISEASE CONTROL and they will give you an update. My info. may be out of date.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Think how your wife would feel, and the hurt you would cause her. Condoms are the best you can do, and if it breaks, you are sunk. I really advise against it. Be a Good Man, not a dog!

if you're both virgins (have not had oral sex or sex formerly) then you fairly're not likely to have any stds. the most worry-loose aspect virgins might want to look out for is chilly sores, they're frequently surpassed to the mouth without ever having sex. they're very worry-loose to have and contagious in the time of a spoil out. they're frequently surpassed out of your mouth on your companions genitals and vice versa. in case you or your significant different ever receives a chilly sore then do not provide oral sex until eventually it is thoroughly lengthy gone. in case you at the prompt are not waiting to have somewhat one you've the prefer to envision that your lady buddy receives on contraception.

condoms is standard...
but it can not protect you 100%
others then that.. i have no idea...

it is because some of the people who have AIDS and STDs...
have no symptoms yet...
they can appear very healthy...
but when... a few maybe 10years... down.. then the disease break out.. then can be seen...

and... even if you did... sex.. once.. with unknown partner
and you can.. also get the disease...

but i would advise you to stay true... to your wife..
so that when u return home.. u wont spread.. those infectious sexual transmitted diseases.. to her...
it will be very cruel to her .. if that happens..

the decision.. is yours...
think twice...

Uh, abstinence is your best bet. One true fire way of avoiding STD's

If you must have intercorse ask the person if they have any STD's. Use a condom, and ask the girl to wear a female condom also. That is about the best you can do.
