all of this sounds great, but the spice was gone for a reason. it wont come back just because you say it will. in order for a successful evening all hard feelings need to be aired out..
and yes, why does it need to start at home. try something different. maybe start by going to the sex shop together and taking it from there..

What i think you should do is before you go in to the house buy some ice cream, and then when you get home dish it out in a bowel, then you sit next to him naked and eat it in the sexiest way possible, but pretend your not paying him any attention. If you have to "accidently" spill the ice cream on your breast or all over your body, and then say "awwww man do you mind getting something to wipe me off with" From there he should know what to do.
