i am a white male and until recently i have only been interested in white ladies, but over the last few years i have found myself being very attracted to asian ladies and just recently black ladies, i was casual friends with a black lady about a year ago and never wanted more than just a friendship with her, she moved away and i hadnt seen her since, until a few days ago. we ran across each other at the grocery store and started talking, i could barely control myself from drooling over her, she lost a little weight and was just drop dead gorgeous. i think she knew what i was thinking but i was too shy to ask her on a date. but during the conversation she mentioned she was single. if there is any black ladies that answer this i would like to know if it would be acceptable of you to date a guy of a different color. my family thinks it is wrong to date anyone who isnt white but i dont feel that way. should i just do what i want and not worry about what my family thinks is right?

Nothing wrong at all. I'm a white guy, but I'm more attracted to Asians, Latinas, and Blacks than I am to Whites. In fact, I haven't dated a white girl in almost 7 years. I've only been with Asian women. My family has no problem. My dad might not like it if I went with a black girl, but that's his problem, not mine. You'd have to come to an agreement with any members of your family that what you do is your business, and if they don't have anything nice to say, they should sthu. =)

Yes, go for it! It's all good. Get out and meet different people. Everyone has their own story. Don't hold yourself back from dating people of all races, cultures, and religions.
You will be surprised how much the modern world isn't bothered about mixed race dating anymore. But, there are also people of color that are prejudiced too, so don't be surprised if you get some crap from those people occasionally.

I happen to be white, but think that people are people
not matter what color/race they are
you should date whomever you like & as long as they are good to you that's all your family should care about

i have the same problem i dated a black guy for 2 years and my parents wouldnt except it and that sucks but its your life not thiers

Man, it comes down to how you feel. I find women that are good looking to be good looking. It comes down to personality and attractiveness. Those who say it's personality are liars, the fact you have to be attracted to them in SOME way to want to be with them.
I say go for it, I would. If your family doesn't like it, too bad for them. They are just small minded. If you like her, you like her. Are you going to let your parents decide who you like or do you make your decisions for yourself?

It shouldn't matter. I am a white female and would date anyone that I was attracted to if he treated me right. I'm sure there are plenty of women with that sentiment.
