My husband says he can't concentrate. He keeps messing up on what ever he's doing or saying. He'll become tongue tied a lot, and is very very forgetful. I told him he needs a vacation; which he can't take one until November. I think he needs to eat better, drink more water, exercise, and try some Tai Chi or something. What do you think could be wrong with him?

He's 30, and he's an Account Executive at Wells Fargo. He manages broker accounts. He basically buys and sells money. Mortgage stuff.

Sounds like ADD, attention deficit disorder, which is usually due to anxiety, lack of sleep, a poor diet, and genetics. Aderol, Stratera, and Wellbutrin are good drugs that a doctor can prescribe, though Aderol is usually misprescribed... While he does probably need to change behavior and habits, he may good reason to get some help.

is he excited when hes trying to answer. or extremely tired. Why don't you try to cook him a nice meal. Give him a massage curl up on the couch and talk about what and where he'd like to go in Nov. Its probably what he needs. But don't forget don't turn on the T.V. and turn off all cellulars and land line ringers. This time is for you. If you wanna give him a mini vacation send him to the spa. I know it sounds Gay but I guarantee he will love it and want to take you next time.

ADD does not come on suddenly in an adult. Early onset Altzheimer's might be considered or small strokes. Get the man some professional help.

Your husband has low self-esteem and lack of confidence in himself. I believe you are the opposite. Talk to him about his role in society; encourage him that he is not like that; encourage him to turn himself around and get out of his weakness. Life can never be that bad. It will take time but be patient with him.

You don' mention his age...

... but it could be symptoms of a mini-stroke. Has he had his blood pressure checked?
... He could be anemic
... He could be in first stage depression
... or, he could just be dehydrated

If you love him, I would recommend that you get him to a doctor pretty soon.
